Abstract:
According to the field investigation of 77 critical loess slopes along the highways in three positions of Shaanxi province, the regression relationship between the height and the degree of slopes was obtained by logarithm regression analysis. The critical slopes were the inputted form of slopes, the Bishop method was used to back-calculating the value of cohesion c when the value of internal friction angle φ. The results show that the value of back-calculated method is closer to the value of the quick shear test. The other test values should be modified. By comparative analysis between strength parameters calculated and actual measured, a method of choosing strength parameters was recommended. Then according to these strength parameters, the basic parameters of designing loess slope can be worked out, which is based on abundant local landform surveying data of loess landslide and critical slope. 7 tabs, 1 fig, 10 refs.
