Abstract:
In order to establish a more advanced dynamic traffic assignment model, based on the analysis of existent models, an improved dynamic traffic assignment model was proposed. In accordance with speed and density characteristic of the traffic flow on urban road, the new model uses Green-shields model to optimize the existent cellular transportation model. The improved model can simulate the move characteristic of traffic flow, ensure the calculation accuracy and reduce the computational complexity of the algorithm. The test example show this model can describe the time-changed traffic flow and find the shortest path to terminal to achieve the function of traffic analysis and induction. 1 fig, 3 tabs, 7 refs.
