Abstract:
To study the trip distance distribution character of rural population in China, the travel database of samples in rural areas was obtained by questionaire survey, then the trip distance distribution function model was analyzed by using statistics theory. Meanwhile, two different provinces rural population trip data were selected to testify the model's validity and analyze the parameters error based on the effect factors of the function parameters. The result shows that the absolute error of rural population trip distance distribution model is less than 0.1, the model has generality and practicability. Different regions can adjust value range of the function when use the model. For the area with high percent of middle and short trip, the cumulative distribution can increase properly in less than 10 km, and the enlargement can limit of 0.1. For the area with high percent of long trip, the cumulative distribution can decrease between 0.05 and 0.1 in the scope of 20 km. 4 tabs, 4 figs, 6 refs.
