Abstract:
In order to enhance the speed and to improve the accuracy of the ultrasonic computerized tomography of concrete, an improved algebraic reconstruction technique (IART) is presented. In IART algorithm, the defect probability of each unit is accounted based on the detected data. Then, the images of concrete structures are initialized, and the error of detected data is distributed depend on the probability. The results show that the IART algorithm is effective to control wave velocity dispersion and to improve the accuracy of computation and the quality of image reconstruction on concrete; the IART algorithm is more accurate for reflecting the internal structure of concrete. 2 tabs, 4 figs, 8 refs.
