Abstract:
In order to research vehicles electrohydraulic power steering(EHPS) system, a hardwareinloop simulation bench of EHPS system was designed and the bench hardware was set up, including EHPS system simulation master control platform, steering wheel driver module, test system module and steering resistance hydraulic load module. By using the bench, the load and velocity characteristics of a certain vehicle EHPS system was tested. The result showed that a larger rack force is produced with a smaller torque input during the power steering, almost no powerassisted is produced by the EHPS system as the vehicles velocity is exceeded 55 km/h, and the EHPS system current is kept at low value. 8 figs, 6 refs.
