Abstract:
According to analysis for buffeting response of the tower of longspan bridges in time domain, program is realized by mixed programming with Matlab and ANSYS parametric design language(APDL) for analyzing buffeting response of longspan bridges in this paper. The method for the turbulent wind field simulation on the basis of improved WAWS and buffeting analysis on the basis of mixed programming are adopted. Turbulent wind fields in Matlab environment were simulated, and buffeting timedomain analysis with transient dynamic analysis in ANSYS environment were finished, and the north tower of the Edong Yangtse River in Hubei Province is analyzed. The results show that method of wind field simulation and buffeting analysis is feasible and correct, and spectral representation method of simulating wind field is improved with Lagrange interpolation, the number of matrixs Cholesky decomposition is largely decreased, and calculating efficiency is markedly advanced. 1 tab, 9 figs, 11 refs.
