Abstract:
In order to improve the emergency response capacity of highway network after traffic accident happening, reduce the time that regional road network is affected by traffic accident and lower the loss caused by traffic accident, the effective implementation of traffic guidance strategy is very necessary. This paper divided the traffic accident affected zone into three levels including nodes, lines and areas, and applied quantitative method to accident affected areas from nodes, lines and areas level and the method is respectively presented by setting experience and requirements of construction control area of highway maintenance, flow theory, comparison method between path impedance calculation and travel time. The paper divided and optimized the road nodes of traffic affected area from nodes, lines and areas level according to the induced point, the control point and the compulsory point. The induction nodes at all levels in regional road network were found, and the feasibility of the method was verified, based on the analysis on the accident situation of Hangjinqu Highway (Hangzhou-Jinhua-Quzhou). The results show that the accident affected zone can be determined quickly, based on the regional highway network topology, and combined with the traffic volume, vehicle speed, traffic capacity data and analysis on traffic accident scene. The proposed method can put forward the traffic control strategy hierarchically corresponding to the optimized road network nodes. Therefore, the efficiency of the disposal of the accident is improved.
