Abstract:
In order to study the fatigue performance on the connecting part of U-rib and diaphragm of bridge deck, detail structure of bridge deck of Jiujiang Yangtze river expressway bridge was studied in this paper. Through finite element analysis on the bridge structure and precise analysis on the sub-model of local structure, the stress distribution in weld of structural detail and the dangerous point were obtained; The specimen was designed based on the principle that the stress distribution of interest point on specimen was the same with the homologous position of the bridge. Finite element analysis, stress measurement and fatigue test were carried out on fatigue specimens. The results are shown as follows: The stress change pattern of fatigue specimen and real bridge is the same in U rib and diaphragm, and the maximum stress occurs at the site of around weld toe in U rib and diaphragm; The fatigue crack is first produced around the weld toe in U rib and diaphragm, and then expands along the weld direction. At the same time, S-N curve and allowable stress amplitude are obtained. The results can be used for evaluation of fatigue life, maintenance and repair of the bridge, which can also provide reference for other bridge design. 1 tab, 19 figs, 16 refs.
