Abstract:
In order to evaluate the engine's power properties, the characteristic factor of torque-load KM, the accommodation factor of speed KV, the engine power Pe and the fuel consumption ge for construction machinery were analyzed. It was found that engine's power properties were decided mainly by engine's external characteristics curve and the difference of engines in working speed range(the rated speed neH to the biggest torque speed nem)was ignored. When they were specially used in comparing the power properties among different engines, the current evaluation index couldn't comprehensively reflect engine's power properties. In addition, the average power(PeP), the average torque(MeP)and the average fuel consumption(geP)were suggested. The results show that these new factors supplement the current evaluation criterion and provide theoretic reference for the comprehensive evaluation of engine's power properties. 4 figs, 11 refs.
