Abstract:
In order to improve the resolution of ground-penetrating radar, and reduce attenuation, dispersion and effects caused by other interference in the process of radar detection, the deconvolution based on fuzzy fractal pulse was proposed to be applied to signal processing of ground-penetrating radar. The assumption that the power spectrum of reflection coefficient was white noise was replaced by the fractal feature, and the specific implementation steps were provided. In order to verify the reasonableness of the method, a PVC plastic pipe with a diameter of 100 millimeters was taken as a calibration object and a model test was designed with the calibration object buried in the sand at different depths and different intervals. The theoretical analysis and experimental results show that for lowering noise and improving resolution, there are certain advantages to deal with radar signals on the principle of the deconvolution based on fuzzy fractal pulse, which can be used as a good supplement for radar signal processing. 1 tab, 9 figs, 10 refs.
