Abstract:
Through the research on the seismic response characteristics of light steel structure, the finite element method was used to analyze the nonlinear seismic response of light steel structure model. The change of top displacement and other each layer displacement were compared, and the strain and stress relation of the computation model was obtained by the seismic wave response analysis of several different thickness floors which were 60 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm and 160 mm. The results indicate that the different thickness floors have different seismic responses to the same seismic waves. The response to seismic waves is most strongly when the floor thickness is 120 mm or 160 mm. The multi-storey light steel structure has good shear deformation, so the qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation should be used to analyze the influence of the thickness of floors to the seismic performance. 23 figs, 14 refs.
