Abstract:
Adhesion performance of the materials between asphalt pavement is directly related to the stress of the asphalt pavement, which affects the road life. The hot bitumen, SBS modified bitumen, SBS modified emulsified bitumen are selected to test the adhesion under different temperatures and the spread quantity. The shear strengthen in different temperatures is considered as the assessment indicator. The results show that the shear strengthen of the three kinds of materials will increase with the temperature down, but the changing laws of the three materials with temperature are different, in low quantity of spreading, the modified emulsified bitumen of SBS is better in adhesion performance, and the best spreading is from 0.5 kg/m2 to 0.7 kg/m2. 5 tabs, 6 figs, 7 refs.
