Abstract:
The dominate wave numbers of liquid sheet breakup point were numerically calculated by dimensionless dispersion relations. The comparison experiments of excited and non-exited liquid film breakup process on liquid jet injecting test device were conducted by photography technique. The results indicate that electromagnetic excited resonance affect liquid jet breakup processes obviously. Electromagnetic excited resonances according to dominating wave number of surface wave in witch were determined by dimensionless dispersion relations can evidently reduce liquid jet breakup lengths. The liquid jet breakup lengths can be reduced about 17%~60% in the stationary air medium, and reduced about 13%~52% in the air-assistant surroundings. An effect of first sprays can be improved evidently. 6 figs, 9 refs.
