Abstract:
In order to analyze the standard of CBR and the soaking time in the arid and semi-arid area, this paper studied the relationship between soaking time and moistures of specimen and the relationship between CBR and moistures of Alashan League silt, Xilinguole League clay I and II, red clay of Erdos City. Eventually four typical soils' soaking time and the value of CBR were modified in Inner Mongol area. The result shows that the moisture content of 4 types of soil exponential growth with the immersing time's increasing. In addition to Alashan silt, the other three soils all need to reduce CBR value or immersing time to make the test fully reflect the real working position of subgrade in the arid and semi-arid area. 2 tabs, 8 figs, 8 refs.
