Abstract:
During the traditional cement concrete mix designing, the composition and structure of coarse aggregate were not paid more attention. In order to fully play the role of coarse aggregate in cement concrete, the interlocking-dense cement concrete was put forward based on the formation of the coarse aggregate interlocking framework structure and from the views of multi-phase dispersion system of cement concrete. Through compressive and flexural tensile strength tests, the effects of water-cement ratio, sand ratio and cement paste filling ratio on strength of the interlocking-dense concrete were analyzed. The results indicate that these factors all evidently influence the concrete strength, there is the best value of the cement paste filling ratio for the compressive strength. The sand ratio should be control within reasonable limits because of the excessive sand ratio is not conducive to the compressive strength. The strength calculate formula of the interlocking-dense concrete is regressed, and the comparing results with the test value indicate that the formula may meet the requirements of engineering application error. 1 tab, 10 figs, 10 refs.
