Abstract:
In order to solve the problem of complicated structural behavior and difficult optimum arrangement of highstrength bolts group used in steel truss bridges, a 3D solid FEM model with the consideration of contact state was established by using software ANSYS to simulate the displacement between coreplate and buttcover plate, the normal stress on the plate and frictional stress state on the contact surface of four different highstrength bolts arrangements under tension force. The optimized effect was compared to the one before being optimized. The calculation results show that: when the optimized arrangement was used, the stress state of the highstrength bolts connections has a little change, but 19%~25%bolts can be saved. 3 tabs, 10 figs, 11 refs.
