Abstract:
Based on the datum of Jinqin (BeijingQinhuangdao) and other highways in Hebei province, an evaluation model is put forward to analyze the early damage of asphalt pavement. It takes the cracks, rutting, other damages, roughness, sliding and structural strength as the evaluation and take the pavement early performance index as the comprehensive evaluation indicators. Preventive maintenance indicators such as crack ratio index, rutting depth index, riding quality index, pavement condition index, pavement skidding resistance index and pavement structure strength index are also proposed to the intervals. The weights of single index in comprehensive evaluation indicators are determined. This model is verified in the maintenance of Jinqin freeway. The result indicates that it can predict the early damages of asphalt pavement accurately. When the index is from 75 to 90, some preventive maintenance measures should be taken. 2 tabs, 9 refs.
