Abstract:
An experimental prototype was designed based on the doublefrequency and doubleamplitude composed vibrating compaction method in order to analyze the effects on compaction performances. On the basis of the early stage experiments, a dynamic model of the compactorsoil was built and the changing rules of soil stiffness and damping with respect to compaction times were also obtained by the solution of their values. With the help of dynamic simulation, the changing rules of some parameters, such as the upper and lower chassis displacements, acceleration, effect forces on the ground caused by compaction roller, were given out. The relatively rational coupling relations among the key compactor working parameters and their varying ranges were gained, the lower frequency is from 20 Hz to 30 Hz, the amplitude is from 0.8 mm to 1.5 mm, the frequency ratio is from 1 to 3, the amplitude ratio is from 1/3 to 1/2, the initial phase of vibration exciter is from 0° to 90°. 2 tabs, 10 figs, 10 refs.
