Abstract:
Under the action of natural environment and service load, the concrete bridges have the degeneration of durability and the degradation of bearing capacity. The features of timevariety for the structural antiforce are studied by reliability analysis. A load effect probability model is developed to evaluate the reliability of existing concrete bridge. A 32yearold concrete bridge is evaluated by this method as an example. The results show that the decay discipline of reliability is consistent with the one of bending resistance, its reliability indices of bending bearing capacity can not meet the demand of Chinese standard, the existing concrete bridge needs to be strengthened. 5 figs, 9 refs.
