- Abstract:
- In order to investigate the effects of coupling durational of additional valve lift and addition valve lift on intake air state parameters of diesel engine. Based on a thermodynamic model with reference to DK4A light diesel engines, various intake air state parameters were acquired by means of numerical simulation and experiment, where the model of simulation had various intake valve lift curves which had different lift trends imported, with the boundary condition of test data at operating condition of 2 800 r/min and 50% loads. Then the influence of the coupling effects of additional lift duration angle and additional lift height on intake air state parameters were analyzed systematically, and the changing principle of influence weight was also researched. The results show that during the coupling effect relationship between the durational of additional valve lift and addition valve lift intake air state parameters, the impact weight of unit durational of additional valve lift is greater than the unit addition valve lift, while in the relationship between k times unit addition valve lift and durational of additional valve lift as equivalent impact weight of the change rate of intake air state parameters, when the change rate is fixed, with the increase of k, the curve of the equivalent relationship moves toward a direction which durational of additional valve lift and addition valve lift are increasing. Among the area of the larger of the two parameters indicate that the impact weight of k times unit addition valve lift is greater than the weight of unit durational of additional valve lift. 1 tab, 18 refs, 20 refs.
