Abstract:
In order to study the influence of highway construction on regional economic development, through the analysis of highway construction and economic development in Shaanxi province in recent years, the importance of highway construction in promoting economic growth, establishing industrial economic belt along the road, and improving the investment environment were illustrated and the scientific development ideas were put forward for highway construction. The results show that highway construction and GDP(Gross Domestic Product)have significant linear correlation, especially the construction of expressways. Highway construction not only promotes the development of the traditional industry, but also promotes the establishment of new industrial economic belts. The local traffic conditions and the main highway development should be fully considered for highway construction so as to establish regional industrial economic belts based on local advantages radiation, and at the same time the construction of rural highway should be developed to connect industry chain. 2 tabs, 2 figs, 6 refs.
