Abstract:
In order to develop prevention measures of natural disasters to highway, this paper studied highway's characteristics and its safe requirements, to highway adopted systematic theory and analytic approach to divide the natural disasters of highway into two types: geological hazard and meteorological disaster. According to disaster causes, scale, failure modes and location, the common types of highway hazard were further divided, for example, collapse, landslide, debris flow, subgrade settlement and subgrade collapse, storm or flood. It is pointed out that the hazard type classification is the basis of disaster prevention and mitigation, such as hazard management. 6 tabs, 2 figs, 10 refs.
