Abstract:
In order to explore a new survey method to evaluate bridges quickly and effectively, through the analysis of standards in the bearing capacity, combining the bearing capacity basic theory with dynamics and statics, this paper proposed a load test improved model named quasi-static deflection method to evaluate existing loading capacity for small and medium-sized bridges. This method was verified by an actual bridge. The results show that the quasi-static deflection method can achieve the accuracy more than 90%, which could be used for middle and small span bridges bearing capacity evaluation by correcting coefficient. Under meeting the demand of detection accuracy, this method can reduce economic loss by 30%. 3 tabs, 15 figs, 7 refs.
