Abstract:
In order to monitor the threeway catalyst converter (TWCC) efficiency, the traditional mathematical models about TWCC are analyzed. Combining with the relationship between TWCC efficiency and some input parameters, the TWCC monitoring model is established based on BP ANN, and the BP ANN models capacity of learning and prolongation is validated. The results show that the average absolute errors of the models output values of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon and nitrous oxide are 3.26%, 2.02% and 1.78% respectively, the developed BP ANN model can accurately forecast the level of TWCC efficiency. 1 tab, 9 figs, 7 refs.
