- Abstract:
- Aimed at the problem that the spatial main cable of selfanchored suspension bridge will be torsion, misalignment, drums and so on in the process of system conversion. The Hangzhou Jiangdong Bridge was taken as the research background, the main cable of the steel wire rope was used instead of the main cable of the parallel steel wire, and a model test was conducted with a geometric scale ratio of 1∶15. The twoinone multifunctional cable clamps, hanger tensioning and anchoring systems, main cable anchoring devices, hanger force testing devices, and cable position measuring devices were designed. The model tests of different types of cable clamps, different predeflected angles of cable clamps and hangers, and different tensioning forces of the hangers were carried out. The characteristics and effects of torsion of the wire rope space main cable section were studied, the local torsion mechanism of the spatial main cable and the influence of various parameters on the torsion angle of the main cable were effectively reveals. The results show that the designed twoinone multifunctional cable clamp and tensioning and anchoring system can easily achieve the model tests of different types of cable clamps, different predeflected angles of cable clamps and hangers, and different tensioning forces of the hangers. The accurate initial predeflected angle for the cable clamp can effectively reduce the twist angle of the main cable in the system conversion process. If the inclination of the crossboom direction of the hanger is the same, the twist angles of the measurement points of the main cable have a small difference when all the cable clamps are fixed at 0 degrees, and all the cable clamps can be freely installed. When the initial lateral predeflection angle is not set in the cable clamp, the torsion angle of the main cable gradually increases as the inclination angle of the transverse bridge of the hanger increases. Compared with the parallel cable main cable, the twisted angle generated by the main cable of the steel wire rope is smaller during the process of the system conversion. The main cable of the steel wire rope has better torsion performance than the main cable of the parallel steel wire and has stronger applicability in the space suspension bridge. When the predeflected angle of the cable clamp is smaller (or larger) than the angle of inclination of hanger, the cable clamp will cause the main cable section to twist in the positive (or reverse) direction. Torsion also occurs during the lateral deformation of the main cable, which is similar to the bending and torsion coupling of the curved bridge. The eccentricity of the hanger force will only lead to the local torque of the main cable. The torsion angle caused by the overall lateral deformation of the main cable needs further study. 4 tabs, 24 figs, 25 refs.
