- In order to solve the problem of reflection cracks of semirigid based asphalt and old asphalt pavements, a method to prevent the occurrence of reflective cracks by setting the stressabsorbing layer of warm rubber asphalt mixture was suggested. The composition of SAKI mixed rubber asphalt mixture which used as stress absorbing layer was designed, according to the low temperature characteristics of cold regions. The optimal combination and production process of rubber asphalt were determined by orthogonal test. The raw materials, the mixing ratio and gradation of the mixture were determined, and the mixture specimen was formed by rotary compaction method. The performance of SAKⅠwarm mixed rubber asphalt mixture as stress absorbing layer was systematically studied, the hightemperature performance of the mixture was determined by the rutting test, and the lowtemperature performance of the mixture was determined by the lowtemperature bending test and the constrained specimen temperature stress test, and the waterstability performance of the mixture was determined by the immersed Marshall stability test and the freezethaw splitting test. The road performance of SAKⅠ warm rubber asphalt mixture, hot rubber asphalt mixture and Sasobit warm rubber asphalt mixture was compared. The results show that the SAKⅠwarming agent still has better high temperature stability, low temperature crack resistance and water stability, the road performance is good, when the mixing temperature and compacted temperature decreased by 30 ℃ of warm mixed rubber asphalt mixture. Compared with the breaking strength, turning point temperature and the slope of temperature stress curve, the freezebreaking temperature can more accurately evaluate the anticracking ability of warm rubber asphalt mixture at low temperature, and it can be used to evaluate the low temperature cracking resistance of warm rubber asphalt mixture. The road performance of SAKⅠ warm mix rubber asphalt mixture is better than that of SBS modified asphalt mixture, and it is more suitable application and use in stress absorption layer in cold regions. 10 tabs, 2 figs, 22 refs.
